OK!
I want to talk about movies but generally about the ones not from Asia.
What are your fav movies from Europe or America (both of them maybe) or even from African and Australian continent. "cause I have a friend who likes Middle East movies and Eugiptian ones too. Though I know a little about them.

Anyways! The only rule here is to describe the film you propose in a couple of words. One reply - one movie. And you may continue talking abot the other movies further after someone's reply.

For a starter - that would be mine:

I like different movies. From different countries. But firstly I propose to watch:

Big Red One - that is a movie about the WWII and is based on the memories of the real front reporter who was also the director of the film. His ides on the shooting stage were taken by a lot of directors - even S. Spielberg in Saving Private Ryan. And that moment was from the Big Red One. I adore that film. It is very emotional and both sometimes funny.

That's seriously hard to pick. It seems as though many North American movies have been becoming disappointments for me personally. I love many North American actors but their choice for work has me wondering why.

I wanted to see the fourth Indiana Jones movie in theatres but I missed it. I absolutely ADORE Harrison Ford. He is an amazing actor. I do hope to see some new 2D movies in the near future. CGI is awesome and beautifully done but the classic 2D are equally awesome and beautiful.

The last movie I saw in theatres was The Simpsons movie.

I want to see more European gems.

I really can't remember if I did.

I do know that I tend to gravitate more towards any movies that surround the Dark Ages, Middle Ages and The Renaissance (Ireland, France, England, Wales, Scotland, and Italy being at the top of my list.)

You might try Zivot je cudo (2004), Crna macka, beli macor (1998) by Emir Kusturica, "Arizona Dream" with Johnny Depp, "Four Rooms", Deceiver (1997) with Tim Roth - that's in the department of quality films with a vein of humour.

Sorry, but I think that you must have seen more of the films focusing on the Middle Ages than me.

Querer es poder.
